BusinessWise and NegocianteSagaz - BusinessWise and NegociateSagaz, its Spanish-language equivalent, are the business start-up and expansion training programs that EHBCC offers to local entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners.  During these 16-week interactive courses, participants learn about the key elements of starting and running a business.  After delivering four minute presentations about their business concepts to a panel of local bankers and completing their business plans, BusinessWise and NegocianteSagaz graduates attend a ceremony and receive certificates that celebrate their accomplishment.  (Please click *here for the BusinessWise PDF Application.  Click *here for the NegocianteSagaz PDF Application.)

Pre-Startup Business Sessions - are designed for community residents who are in the preliminary stages of forming a business idea and want to gain a better understanding of what it takes to start and operate a business.  The course also addresses fundamental questions like how to determine whether self-employment and/or entrepreneurship is right for them and, if so, how to more clearly define their business concepts.

Financial Literacy Workshop - is intended to improve both personal and business financial management skills.  The workshop provides the information participants need to understand the importance of good credit, to assess their own credit rating and, if necessary, to develop a plan to improve their credit.  It also covers how to maintain good financial records.

Women in Business Seminars - address business management problems and personal life issues that tend to affect female entrepreneurs, including those who operate home-based businesses.  A key focus of the course is how to balance running a business and raising a family.

Business English – helps Spanish-dominant entrepreneurs to learn the English terminology necessary to communicate more effectively with their clients and banks or other lenders.
